In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lyons Lions flag football squad scored a close 9-7 triumph over the Naperville Central Redhawks.

The Lions (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers come into the match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Proviso West was nudged by Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL), 34-23, in a league match.
