Next up, the Falcons confront the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 18. Forbush will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over West Stokes (King, NC).
With the loss, Mount Airy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Granite bears travel to Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18.
