Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) and the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), saw Elkin's volleyball squad nudge Forbush by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Elkin improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Buckin' Elks host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to encounter the Granite Bears in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. The Granite Bears go into the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Falcons now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14.
