Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Western Wayne nudges Dunmore
September 16, 2025: Dunmore, PA 18512 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Dunmore Bucks.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders go into the Lackawanna - Division II outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, West Scranton got by Gregory The Great Academy (Elmhurst Township, PA), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Bucks confront the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division II test, on Thursday, September 18. Dunmore will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Chiefs come into the test with a 2-7 record after their 4-1 league loss to Mountain View (Kingsley, PA).
