North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ascend Leadership bounced by Clover Garden School

Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Clover Garden School improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Grizzlies host Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to encounter the Lions in a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Thursday, September 18. The Lions go into the test with a record of 3-8. Southern Wake Academy won 3-2 in their recent league test against Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC)

Next, the Aviators meet the Heritage Leadership Academy Fletchers (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Ascend Leadership will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Fletchers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Carolina Friends (Durham, NC).
