North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ascend Leadership River Mill

September 4, 2025: Graham, NC 27253

The Ascend Leadership Aviators volleyball squad (Sanford, NC), was defeated 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC)

With the win, River Mill improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to meet the Grizzlies in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Friday, September 5. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Clover Garden School won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)

Next, the Aviators meet the Central Carolina Academy Eagles (Sanford, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Ascend Leadership will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC).
