Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Cardinal Newman won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA)

Next, the Spartans meet the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Red Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pierce (Arbuckle, CA).
