September 17, 2022: Middlebury, VT 05753 The Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT) football nudged the visiting Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT), 27-20 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) in a Division I bout, on Friday, September 23. Middlebury will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 48-14 league loss to Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT).
The Bobwhites/Comets (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets enter the Division I bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Essex held off St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 16-14, in a league bout.
