The Union City Indians topped the host Monroe Central Golden Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Indians now have a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mississinawa Valley for a non-league test on Monday, September 19. Union City will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Troy Christian (Troy, OH). The Blackhawks record now stands at 7-5.

The Golden Bears (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Royals enter the Mid-Eastern test with a 12-9 record.
