September 17, 2024: Purcell, OK 73080 The Purcell Dragons overwhelmed the visiting Ada Cougars softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons meet the Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Purcell will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Comets go into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 11-0 league loss to Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK).
The Cougars (5-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 7-19 record. In their last challenge, Pauls Valley was routed by Byng (Ada, OK), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.
