September 19, 2024: Ardmore, OK 73401 In Thursday's non-league test, the Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the host Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK), by a count of 17-3.
Next, the Dragons meet the Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 20. Purcell will attempt to upgrade on its 20-9 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 16-9 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Ripley (Ripley, OK).
The Comets (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Ada (Ada, OK). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 6-18 record. In their last test, Ada toppled Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK), 4-3, in a non-league test.
