South Carolina High School Volleyball - Lake Marion over Whale Branch
September 17, 2024: Santee, SC 29142 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) and the visiting Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), observed Lake Marion's volleyball team top Whale Branch by a count of 3-0.
The Gators (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC). The Buccaneers enter the A Region 7 contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Bridges Prep notched a victory over Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Warriors battle the Hampton County Hurricanes (Varnville, SC) in a A Region 7 contest, on Thursday, September 19. Whale Branch will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Hurricanes enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Barnwell (Barnwell, SC).
