South Carolina High School Volleyball - Whale Branch over Hampton County
September 19, 2024: Beaufort, SC 29940 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC) and the visiting Hampton County Hurricanes (Varnville, SC), observed Whale Branch's volleyball team top Hampton County by a count of 3-0.
The Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Barnwell (Barnwell, SC). The Warhorses enter the A Region 7 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Barnwell notched a victory over Edisto (Cordova, SC), 2-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Hurricanes meet the Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC) in a A Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Hampton County will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Lake Marion (Santee, SC).
