With the win, Albany improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Cougars host Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA) to meet the Pride in a Tri-County - Rock test on Monday, September 22. The Pride go into the test with a record of 6-5. Salesian College Preparatory won 3-1 in their recent league test against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA)

The Panthers now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Dowd for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Saint Mary's will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Branson (Ross, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 7-7.
