Game Summary
Great offensive and defensive effort. Competitive game especially the first half. Squires were down 0-1 18 minutes into the half with a goal for Littlestown off an indirect kick. But the Squires quickly came back with a throw-in from Andrew Gervasi #5 (senior) to Aidan Groves #53 (junior) who flicked it in the air to the foot of Angello Salazar #33 (freshman) for the tying goal! Later in the second half, the Squires defender William DiDio #2 (senior) had a long run from the middle of the field passing it to Aidan Groves #53 (junior) with a beautiful give-and-go back to DiDio for the game-winning goal with 8 minutes left. The Squires played a strong game with every player contributing to this victory. Player of the game is William DiDio #2.
