The Gilbert Tigers volleyball squad (Gilbert, AZ), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ)

With the win, Higley upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to meet the Bulldogs in a 6A - Fiesta contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 0-11. Queen Creek lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)
