Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Western Branch improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bruins travel to Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 1-5.

The Cavaliers now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Churchland for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. Lakeland will meet a Truckers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Truckers record now stands at 5-7.
