Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Branch over Deep Creek
September 4, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23323 In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Western Branch Bruins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Deep Creek Hornets.
The Bruins (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Manchester lost by James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Deep Creek will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
