September 19, 2023: McLean, VA 22101 Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Saxons battle the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a Liberty match, on Thursday, September 21. Langley will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
With the loss, Wakefield drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Herndon (Herndon, VA) to battle the Hornets in a Liberty match on Thursday, September 21. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 1-5. Herndon lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
