In Tuesday's league contest, the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Rangers face the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 contest, on Friday, September 22. Sterling will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 27-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX).
