The Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) volleyball overcame the host Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Nederland upgrades its record to 20-11 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region III District 17 outing on Saturday, September 9. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 20-7. Port Neches-Groves lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX)
