Georgia High School Softball - Clinch County sneaks past Fitzgerald
September 19, 2024: Homerville, GA 31634 The Clinch County Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane to 5 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanier County for a 1A D-II Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 24.
With the loss, Fitzgerald moves to 3-17 on the season. The Purple hurricane host Berrien (Nashville, GA) to confront the Rebels in a 1A D-I Region 1 battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 7-12. Berrien lost 9-0 in their recent league battle against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
