With the win, Merrillville advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Pirates host La Porte (La Porte, IN) to confront the Slicers in a Duneland match on Friday, September 26. The Slicers enter the match with a record of 2-3. La Porte won 27-16 in their recent league match against Lake Central (St. John, IN)
