In Friday's league match, the visiting Rowe Warriors football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Palmview Lobos.

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX). The Huskies enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 16 match with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Juarez-Lincoln was tipped by McAllen (McAllen, TX), 42-10, in a league battle.

The Lobos now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Grande City for a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 battle on Friday, September 26. Palmview will play a Rattlers team coming off a 49-14 league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 0-4.
