The Palo Alto Vikings football team (Palo Alto, CA), dropped 31-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA)

With the win, San Mateo advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Bearcats host Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA) to battle the Bears in a non-league contest on Friday, September 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Menlo-Atherton lost 28-13 in their recent non-league bout against California (San Ramon, CA)

The Vikings now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host King's Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Palo Alto will encounter a Knights team coming off a 22-19 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
