With the win, Siegel improves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Stars travel to Franklin Christian Academy (Franklin, TN) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 3-4. Franklin Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN)
Next, the play the Oakland Patriots (Murfreesboro, TN) in a AAA District 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Rockvale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Riverdale (Murfreesboro, TN).
Match Summary
Siegel came out strong against Rockvale, but they were not going down without a fight. The Stars adjusted their line-up in the third set to let some of the younger players have an opportunity. There were some trust and chemistry issues that we worked through. I am proud of how hard Siegel worked to finish and work through some of the setbacks. Siegel beat Rockvale in a sweep, but the Set 3 score reflects Rockvale's resilience and potential.
