September 20, 2022: Fort Valley, GA 31030 The Pike County Pirates softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Peach County Trojans to 1 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Pike County improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Pirates host Jones County (Gray, GA) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 21. The Greyhounds come into the game with a record of 8-6. Jones County won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 22. Peach County will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 8-5 record after their 8-5 league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA).
