September 20, 2022: Kemp, TX 75143 Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX), 3-2 in a league match.
Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 match, on Friday, September 23. Kemp will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 14-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Malakoff (Malakoff, TX).
With the loss, Blooming Grove drops to 9-18 on the campaign. The Lions host Mildred (Corsicana, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 3A Region III District 18 match on Friday, September 23. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 9-12.
