North Carolina High School Volleyball - Monroe crushed by Central Academy

September 20, 2022: Monroe, NC 28112

The Central Academy Cougars topped the host Monroe Redhawks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anson for a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Thursday, September 22. Central Academy will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 10-3.

The Redhawks (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the Rocky River 2A/3A test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Parkwood was knocked off by West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
