Illinois High School Volleyball - Lisle Wilmington
September 20, 2022: Wilmington, IL 60481 The Wilmington Wildcats topped the visiting Lisle Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dwight for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 21. Wilmington will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Donovan (Donovan, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-13.
The Lions (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers enter the Illinois Central Eight test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Coal City was knocked off by Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 2-1, in a league test.

The Lady Cats kicked off their Homecoming Week with a clean sweep over Lisle in Tuesday night's volleyball action! All three setters got to see the court tonight and put up some impressive numbers. Emma Grace Strong had 11 assists, Clara Smith had 5 assists and Grace Burkey had 4. Burkey also added 7 digs while Strong added 3 kills, and Smith had 2 aces. Jaylee Mills was on top of her game at the net with 7 kills and 2 solo blocks. Lexi Liaramatis led defensively with 12 digs and 2 aces.
