Maryland High School Football - Friendly falls to Potomac

September 20, 2024: Fort Washington, MD 20744

The Potomac Wolverines felled the host Friendly Patriots football team by a score of 35-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge, on Friday, September 27. Potomac will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 44-0 non-league loss to Eastern (Washington, DC).

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Falcons go into the Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Central was dropped by Crossland (Temple Hills, MD), 37-28, in a league challenge.
