Maryland High School Football - Largo sneaks past Potomac
October 4, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 The Largo Lions football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Potomac Wolverines to 22 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crossland for a Prince George's County 2A/1A test on Friday, October 11. Largo will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 57-0 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Potomac drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD) to meet the Eagles in a Prince George's County 2A/1A test on Friday, October 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-1. Douglass won 43-0 in their recent league test against Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD)
