The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), witnessed Largo's football squad wallop Central by a tally of 48-8.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles enter the Prince George's County 2A/1A contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Douglass was trounced by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 14-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A contest, on Saturday, September 21.
