The Bishop Ireton Cardinals volleyball squad (Alexandria, VA), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league battle with the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD)

With the win, Bishop McNamara improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to encounter the Falcons in a Washington Catholic battle on Monday, September 23. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 1-6. Our Lady of Good Counsel lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)
