In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Bishop Ireton Cardinals.

The Tartans (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD). The come into the Washington Catholic challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Elizabeth Seton beat Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16.
