The Royal Falcons football team scored 28 points and restricted the host Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles to 26 in the Falcons non-league win on Saturday.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) in a 4A-2 Region III District 10 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Royal will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Rudder was edged by Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 42-10, in a non-league challenge.
