September 21, 2022: Palmer, AK 99645 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) and the visiting Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK), saw Palmer's volleyball squad nip Bettye Davis East Anchorage by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Palmer upgrades its record to 15-10 on the year. The Moose travel to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to play the Warriors in a 4A Northern Lights bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-7.
The Thunderbirds now own a 6-20 record. They play next when they travel to South Anchorage for a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Friday, September 23. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Service (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-6.
