September 21, 2023: Brooklet, GA 30415 In Thursday's league contest, the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA), by a margin of 7-0.
With the triumph, Southeast Bulloch moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Islands (Savannah, GA) to play the Sharks in a 4A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, September 26. The Sharks come into the contest with a record of 1-8. Islands lost 14-2 in their recent non-league contest against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)
In their next game, the Phoenix play the First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders (Hinesville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 23. New Hampstead will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Highlanders come into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 16-0 league loss to Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA).
