September 21, 2023: Somerset, KY 42503 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) and the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), saw Southwestern's volleyball squad beat Somerset by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Southwestern upgrades its record to 11-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to North Laurel (London, KY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 9-7. North Laurel won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against South Laurel (London, KY)
The Briar Jumpers now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Somerset will play a Generals squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Generals record now stands at 9-11.
