Kentucky High School Volleyball - Pulaski County tips Somerset
August 24, 2023: Somerset, KY 42503 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) and the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), saw Pulaski County's volleyball squad nip Somerset by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Pulaski County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Maroons travel to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to play the Rockets in a District 47 bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Rockcastle County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Casey County (Liberty, KY)
The Briar Jumpers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Somerset will play a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Titans record now stands at 5-0.
