September 22, 2022: Frederick, CO 80504 Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) in a 4A/3A Longs Peak challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Frederick will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO).
The Eagles now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Morgan for a 4A/3A Longs Peak challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Thompson Valley will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 0-0 non-league Holy Family (Broomfield, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
