The Connally Cadets volleyball team (Waco, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX)

The Cougars (19-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets enter the 4A Region III District 23 challenge with a 12-13 record. In their last challenge, Gatesville went down by Robinson (Robinson, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cadets encounter the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Connally will attempt to move on its 18-11 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 25-9 record after their 3-0 league win over La Vega (Waco, TX).
