Next up, the Cadets battle the Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 19. Connally will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record.
With the loss, La Vega drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Mexia (Mexia, TX) to battle the Black Cats in a non-league contest on Friday, September 1. The Black Cats come into the contest with a record of 0-5.
