Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Leroy Greene Academy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 20-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Foresthill advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Wildfires travel to Futures (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Knights in a Sierra Delta League match on Wednesday, September 24. The Knights come into the match with a record of 4-4. Futures won 18-12 in their recent league match against Encina (Sacramento, CA)

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA) in a Sierra Delta League match, on Monday, September 29. Leroy Greene Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Capitals come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Elite (Vallejo, CA).
