Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mounties clash with the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 23. Shades Valley will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 9-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL).
