September 23, 2024: Alexandria, AL 36250 Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Faith Christian Lions (Anniston, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Alexandria improves its record to 25-10 on the season. The Valley Cubs host Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-10. Hokes Bluff lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Sardis (Boaz, AL)
The Lions now own a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Faith Christian will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ashville (Ashville, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.
