September 3, 2024: Oxford, AL 36203 Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oxford advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host White Plains (Anniston, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-6.
The Valley Cubs now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hokes Bluff for a non-league test on Monday, September 9.
