The Benson volleyball squad (Benson, MN), was defeated 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN)

With the win, Upsala improves its record to 4-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN) to meet the Thunder in a Prairie challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Thunder enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Swanville (Swanville, MN)

Next, the meet the Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) in a West Central challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Benson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN).
