Georgia High School Softball - Northeast knocked off by Academy for Classical Education
September 24, 2024: Macon, GA 31210 The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons overwhelmed the visiting Northeast Raiders softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Gryphons meet the East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 12-0 league win over Dodge County (Eastman, GA).
The Raiders (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, Westside was routed by Morgan County (Madison, GA), 13-0, in a league challenge.
