The North Wilkes Vikings topped the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Vikings now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. North Wilkes will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 11-4.

The Buckin' Elks (2-14) will now prepare for their test against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals enter the Northwest 1A test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, East Wilkes dropped by Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
